Chairman
Gary Zamel
Mr Zamel joined IBD Medical in 2020 as the chairman of the board. With his background in Aged Care, Medical Devices, Technology and Industrial ventures for over 40 years, Zamel has brought a wealth of experience and global networks to the role.

Zamel has established a number of successful technology start-up companies including; New Medtek Devices, Group Homes Australia, MST Global, CommChain, Jellinbah Resources, Benthic Geotech and Wikistrat.
​
Zamel is currently a Founder and Executive Chairman of CommChain Pty. Ltd. and New Medtek Devices Pty. Ltd. He is also a Director of the NFP Outcomes Australia. Zamel was a former Director at the Australia Israel Chamber of Commerce and is a Fellow of Academy of Technology, Science & Engineering and Hon Fellow of Engineers Australia.
Founder and CEO
Elad Guberman
Mr Guberman founded IBD Medical in 2016 with the hopes of improving the lives of people living with diabetes by making conditions management easier, faster and less disruptive. His ultimate goal is to empower people living with diabetes,

Guberman has over 20 years of experience, both domestically and internationally in finance, business development and marketing. He has an economics and psychology degree and a Masters in Commercial Law.
​
Elad serves as a mentor to a few new businesses as well as sitting on the Board of the AICC (Australian Israel Chamber of Commerce).
Advisory Board
Warren Bingham
Mr Bingham joined IBD Medical as part of the Advisory Board. With more than 30 years of proven success in the Medical Devices sector, Bingham specialises in leading organisations with innovative and disruptive medical device and Digital Health technologies with their global strategic execution, commercialisation and Board fulfilment.
Bingham is the Founder and Executive Chairman of MedTech International, CEO of BioAnalytics Holdings, Board Member of Research Australia, Non-Executive Director of EndoGene, Chairman of SchoolAid, Non-Executive Director of Lenexa Medical, Director of Strategic Partnerships at Saiiv and Chairman of ('Australia's most diverse Board') The Macquarie University Global MBA Advisory Board.
Board Member
Leslie Butterfield
Ms Butterfield joined IBD Medical in 2020 as a board member. Ms Butterfield has a civil engineering degree and background in Project Management. She has experience in corporate advisory, corporate finance, business development, strategic planning and senior executive roles. Her strategic focus centres around technology and innovation.
She has served on numerous Boards and advisory panels including the Federal IRD Board. Ms Butterfield is currently a Non-Executive Director of Opteon Pty Ltd., New Medtek Pty Ltd, Senversa Pty Ltd, and Lyndsay Dynan Consulting Engineers.
Ms Butterfield is also a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Advisory Board
Dr Neale Cohen
Dr Neale Cohen joined IBD Medical as part of the Advisory Board. Dr Neale Cohen is the Head of Diabetes Clinical Research at the Baker Institute in Melbourne. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).
Dr Neale Cohen is an endocrinologist and has practiced at the Baker Institute for over 20 years. He has extensive experience in diabetes services in both the public and private systems.

His primary research interests include Indigenous diabetes, technology and diabetes and diabetic complications.
Advisory Board
Ricardo Schleifer
Mr Schleifer joined IBD Medical as the Chief of Business Developments as well as the Advisory Board in 2016. Schleifer has over 30 years of experience in introducing innovative interdisciplinary and medical products into new and existing market globally.
Schleifer adds to the depth of knowledge of the Board at a time when we are expanding into research and development within the medical sphere. He has a background in marketing, science and the medical industry he brings a wealth of experience to IBD Medical. Schleifer also has an in-depth understanding of different medical markets.

Schleifer is multilingual and is fluent in Spanish, Hebrew, English and Italian.
